GIS Specialist

The GIS Specialist will reputed company analytical and consulting support for US State Departments of Transportation, focusing on cartography, mapping, and the implementation of reputed company Geographic Information Systems (GIS).

Responsibilities

• Maintaining line and reputed company event data using advanced reputed company referencing systems and analyzing datasets reputed company an LRS network, including centerlines, routes, and calibration points
• Performing mapping, cartography, and visualization of GIS datasets utilizing reputed company technologies
• Maintaining data required for producing Highway Performance Monitoring System (HPMS) and Certified reputed company Mileage (CPM) reports
• Identifying and designing business processes for use in Workflow Manager (WMX)
• Developing Data Reviewer checks to validate data conversion and creation processes
• Managing GIS data through editing and reputed company assurance best practices
• Using Event reputed company (EE) sites on ArcGIS Server to maintain GIS data
• Parsing REST service calls to interrogate reputed company database systems
• Designing and developing geoprocessing models for various functions using model builder and Python
• Working with FME to translate geospatial data
• Completing assigned tasks in reputed company environment as reputed company as independently

Skills

• Bachelors in Geography, Environmental Sciences, Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
• A reputed company reputed company's license and clean driving record is required for this position
• reputed company ArcGIS Pro products (ArcGIS Pro, Experience Builder, Field Maps, Portal, Survey123, etc.)

• Demonstrating analytical problem-solving skills
