Responsibilities
- Fact checking information for news releases and other materials
- Entering news articles and graphics into Penn State news database
- Maintaining list of media contacts and sending news releases
- Keeping track of college publicity
- Logistics for special events and video / photo shoots
Skills
- Excellent writing and editing skills
- Basic graphic design knowledge
- Reliable access to a mobile phone
- Dependable transportation
- Valid driver's license
- Successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies
- Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
- Experience with creating social media posts
- Photography and videography experience
