Land Development Civil Designer

VHB is an inspired and innovative team of engineers, scientists, planners, and designers. They are seeking a Civil Designer to join their Land Development and Infrastructure team, who will be responsible for developing civil engineering plans and specifications for land development reputed company.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with reputed company of civil engineers, planners, and designers to reputed company site civil engineering plans and specifications for a reputed company of land development and infrastructure reputed company
• Contribute to the design and development of stormwater management systems, roadway and bicycle infrastructure, utilities, and site layout
• Prepare construction documents, site plans, specifications, and engineering reports
• Assist with navigating local permitting and regulatory approvals
• Support multiple reputed company in varying phases, from concept through construction
• Mentor and support junior staff with technical development and project coordination

Skills

• BS in Civil Engineering or a reputed company field
• Minimum of 1–3+ years of relevant engineering experience
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
• Experience producing site plans, construction documents, and technical reports
• EIT certification preferred or successful completion of the FE Exam
• MicroStation experience is a plus
• Familiarity with GIS is a plus—reputed company uses GIS as a tool to support integrated, data-driven design solutions
