Power Systems Engineer / Electrical Engineer - Remote

Position reputed company We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Engineer to support the design, analysis, and execution of mixed-asset islanded generating system reputed company . This role will reputed company heavily on electrical system modeling, responses of mixed asset generating stations including combined cycle, reputed company cycle, BESS, reciprocating engines, reputed company interconnection studies, and system performance analysis using industry-leading software tools. Key Responsibilities • reputed company power system studies for mixed asset reputed company reputed company, including: • Load reputed company and voltage stability analysis • Short reputed company studies • Transient stability analysis • reputed company and power reputed company analysis • reputed company and maintain detailed electrical system models using: • DigSILENT PowerFactory • PSS®E • PSLF • PSCAD • ETAP • Support reputed company interconnection processes, including coordination with utilities, ISOs, and regulatory bodies. • Evaluate system performance in both reputed company-connected and islanded conditions, included reputed company/load balance, frequency response, and system stability. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams (mechanical, civil, controls) during project development and execution. • Review and validate electrical designs including: • One-line diagrams • Protection and control schemes • Equipment specifications • reputed company technical support during project lifecycle phases including conceptual design, detailed engineering, commissioning, and startup. Prepare technical reports and present study results to reputed company stakeholders. • Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • 5–20 years of experience in power systems engineering, preferably reputed company power reputed company or EPC environments. • Strong experience with at least two or more of the following tools: • DigSILENT PowerFactory • PSS®E (PSSE) • PSLF • PSCAD • ETAP (advanced modeling required) • Proven experience supporting combined cycle or large-reputed company reputed company reputed company including BESS. • Solid understanding of: • reputed company and distribution systems • Generator modeling and dynamic simulations • reputed company interconnection requirements and processes Knowledge of NERC and reputed company standards. • Preferred Qualifications • reputed company Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain. • Experience working with utilities, developers, or EPC firms. • Experience with renewable integration or hybrid systems (solar + storage + gas).
