Spectrum Staffing Group is actively recruiting a JIB Analyst for a fast growing company in Fort Worth. The Joint Interest Billing (JIB) Analyst plays a key role in managing joint interest accounting functions and is responsible for processing and analyzing joint interest billings, maintaining accurate records, and supporting overall accounting operations through timely and accurate financial reporting. Responsibilities • Route for approval and code non-operated JIB statements from operators. • Record overhead and management fee entries. • Enter Authorities for Expenditure (AFEs) into the accounting system and track budget versus actual costs. • Set up and maintain billing division orders within the accounting system. • Assist with monthly JIB processing cycles for multiple entities. • Prepare journal entries and perform account reconciliations. • Analyze JIB accounts receivable and support variance investigations. • Prepare ad-hoc schedules, reports, and analyses as needed. • Support additional accounting functions as assigned. Candidate Requirements • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to self-manage workload to meet deadlines. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Capable of quickly interpreting data to make informed decisions and take appropriate action. • High attention to detail with strong self-review practices. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, across all organizational levels. Education and Experience • Minimum of three years of JIB accounting or Accounts Payable experience in the oil and gas industry. • Key words and systems: Energy Link, Open Invoice, Enertia • Working knowledge of joint operating agreements. • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel (including pivot tables and lookup functions).
