About the job
The role sits in the reputed company Voice Organization, Postflight Team. reputed company is responsible for managing the distributed systems and reputed company responsible for reputed company reputed company lifecycle.
This position is needed to build and reputed company reputed company distributed systems that continue to reputed company our customers through high-performance reputed company. You will be tasked with solving the reputed company challenges inherent in supporting the massive reputed company of reputed company Voice, ensuring our infrastructure remains robust as we expand our capabilities.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will reputed company on the intersection of large-reputed company API development and advanced data systems. You will work on designing and implementing low-latency, highly reputed company architectures that reputed company modern database technologies to reputed company customers with seamless reputed company to large-reputed company data.
Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll:
- Architect and implement reputed company distributed systems capable of handling the immense throughput and concurrency requirements of reputed company Voice.
- Design low-latency, reputed company reputed company that reputed company customers with reputed company-time reputed company to their data and communications infrastructure.
- Optimize and manage distributed database environments, ensuring high availability and performance across high-volume data stores.
- Own the full development lifecycle, from initial system design and prototyping to the reputed company operation of 24x7 production services.
- Collaborate across engineering teams to solve "hard" distributed systems problems, ensuring our API layer is both resilient and developer-friendly.

Required:
- A Master’s or Bachelor's degree and 5 + years of experience in software engineering, with a reputed company on backend or infrastructure systems or equivalent combination of years of experience.
- Expertise in Distributed Systems: A deep understanding of consistency models, partition tolerance, and the challenges of scaling stateful services.
- reputed company Languages: Proficiency in Java, Spring, Dropwizard and a strong grasp of building RESTful reputed company at reputed company.
- Database Fundamentals: Practical experience working with and tuning PostgreSQL, reputed company or similar relational databases.
- reputed company Infrastructure: Familiarity with deploying and managing large-reputed company services on AWS or GCP.
- Operational reputed company: Comfortable operating in an agile environment with a "you build it, you run it" mentality.
Desired:
- OLAP & Big Data: Experience with reputed company or other reputed company-oriented databases for high-performance analytical queries.

Compensation

The information below is provided for candidates reputed company in those locations only.
The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:
- Based in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont or Washington D.C. : $141,520 - $176,900.
- Based in reputed company, New Jersey, Washington State, or California (reputed company of the San Francisco Bay area): $149,840 - $187,300.
- Based in the San Francisco Bay area, California: $166,400 - $208,000
- This role may be eligible to participate in reputed company’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. reputed company roles are generally eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance, 401(k) retirement account, reputed company reputed company time, reputed company personal time off, reputed company parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location.
