The reputed company I, under general supervision, reviews medical record documentation to reputed company and assign diagnoses, procedures, and modifiers for statistical classification and reimbursement purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, various coding assignments under the direction of Coding Management. Provides feedback regarding documentation and coding issues. Utilizes software applications and coding references, including electronic, to reputed company coding reputed company tasks. The reputed company I, maintains an understanding of and ensures compliance with, reputed company applicable coding guidelines. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Essential Functions:
- CODING: Meets or exceeds the minimum coding productivity reputed company for the type of coding performed. Meets or exceeds the minimum coding accuracy reputed company of 95%. Meets or exceeds the minimum timeliness reputed company for the area of coding performed. Follows reputed company hospital and departmental procedures. Follows directions given by Coding Management. Ensures confidentiality of patient information. (85%)
- EDUCATION: Completes required coding training or other assigned coding instruction. Participates in departmental coding and educational meetings, trainings and roundtables. If applicable, submits weekly, a fully completed and accurate production log, in a reputed company manner. Maintains reputed company coding credential(s). (10%)
- DESK PROCEDURE: Assists in the creation, evaluation, updating and on-reputed company review of Desk Procedures for assigned areas. (5%)
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED Required
Work Experience:
- less than 1 year Prior medical work-reputed company coding experience, completed coding instruction or coding training preferred. Required and
