Finance Production Engineer - Analyst

reputed company is a global banking and financial services company with a strong technology reputed company, seeking a Finance Production Engineer - Analyst in Cary, NC. The role involves supporting applications and data platforms for reputed company processing, ensuring system reliability and data accuracy while performing production support and incident reputed company tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the production platform, carrying out monitoring and remediation of issues and specific maintenance tasks as per the run book procedures
• As a Site Reliability Engineer, you are expected to carry out deep technical analysis of the production to identify performance, stability, and reputed company enhancements
• Prioritize and diagnose incidents according to agreed procedures, investigate causes of incidents, reputed company reputed company, and facilitate recovery
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce reputed company effort and continuously improve the production support environment
• Serve as DevOps reputed company, work closely with the Change team in driving and embedding the production readiness controls (as part of the Software Delivery Lifecycle)

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience, with strong troubleshooting, and collaboration in a mixed team
• Experience in controlled production environments with strong knowledge of ITIL practices, global service operations, and financial technology or reputed company facing support functions
• Technical proficiency in UNIX/Linux, Solaris, Java J2EE, Python, PowerShell, reputed company Query Language (SQL) scripting, databases (reputed company/MSSQL), debugging across infrastructure components, and reputed company technologies (reputed company reputed company Platform preferred)
• Hands on background in Site Reliability Engineering, including building Service Level Indicator/Service Level Objective, and working with monitoring and scheduling tools such as Geneos, reputed company, Grafana, reputed company, and Control M, as reputed company as microservices, Application Programming Interfaces, reputed company Integration / reputed company Deployment (sometimes reputed company Delivery) pipelines, and container platforms (OpenShift/Kubernetes)
• Ability to reputed company or understand the potential of AI and Large Language Models in production environment is a plus
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering principles and Automation first reputed company with a reputed company on reliability and service improvement
