Junior Copywriter

J.Crew Factory is a renowned clothing company known for its commitment to quality and style. They are seeking a Junior Copywriter to own product copy and naming across women’s and crewcuts, while also writing on-brand loyalty copy for various channels and supporting additional copy assignments as needed.

Responsibilities

• Be our women’s and crewcuts product expert!
• Own product copy and naming across women’s and crewcuts
• Write on-brand loyalty copy for designated channels
• Tackle and support additional copy assignments as needed, from site to email to social
• Research everything from sustainability terms to third party brand backstories
• Adopt our brand voice while helping to evolve it
• Keep tabs on what’s going on word-wise in the industry

Skills

• 1-3 years' of writing experience
• BS/BA degree (English, Journalism, Communications or Advertising preferred)
• An unapologetically nerdy love of words
• Cool-headed multitasking
• Curiosity about all kinds of retail experiences
• Brainstorming sorcery
• Hype for the latest long read, niche TikTok sound and/or good outfit spotted on the subway
• Ability to work efficiently and adhere to multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
• Must have a deep understanding of our brand voice
