Marketing Communications Coordinator
The Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) is a national organization representing franchised new car and truck dealerships across Canada. They are seeking a Marketing & Communications Coordinator to manage day-to-day communications, support marketing initiatives, and ensure effective messaging across various platforms.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the organization’s communications calendar to ensure consistent messaging throughout the year
- Edit, produce, and distribute communications across multiple channels including email, website, newsletters, print materials, and social media
- Coordinate with external vendors and partners such as translators, web developers, and marketing agencies
- Ensure communications are consistent with CADA brand guidelines and meet quality and compliance standards in both English and French
- Assist in producing marketing materials such as ads, brochures, and promotional campaigns
- Coordinate email campaigns and website updates in collaboration with internal teams
- Support content creation and management for social media channels
- Assist in the production and promotion of webinars, newsletters, and digital communications
- Help plan and coordinate communications for events, conferences, and CADA initiatives such as the annual Summit
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to support their communication and marketing needs
Skills
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- Relevant experience in communications, marketing, or digital content coordination
- Fluency in both English and French (written and spoken)
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities in both languages
- Experience managing website content, email communications, or social media platforms
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with graphic design tools (Adobe products or Canva)
- Knowledge of HTML
- Automotive, or insurance industry experience is considered an asset
