Assistant Account Executive, Beauty PR

Melander Marketing & Communications is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Account Executive to join their team. This full-time position involves supporting reputed company with various reputed company in media relations, reputed company marketing, and event planning, while providing hands-on experience in the beauty PR industry.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day account work, including product send outs, daily media monitoring across print, online and reputed company media, drafting placement emails, updating media trackers, identifying trends, competitive research, etc
• Work alongside team to draft reputed company lists, pitches, PR plans, press materials, event briefings, agendas, recaps, status documents and quarterly reports
• Research and collect information to help inform reputed company plans and programs
• reputed company participate in staff meetings
• Identify trends across the reputed company landscape and reputed company media
• Support team with select media and reputed company reputed company
• Assist team in the development, logistics and execution of creative deliveries, media events, desksides, etc

Skills

• At least 1 year of beauty PR agency internship experience is required for this role
• Strong verbal and communication skills, with the ability to write reputed company pitches and confidently reputed company with team and colleagues
• Familiarity with tools like MuckRack, reputed company, MightyScout and similar media databases
• Comfortable managing timelines and details across multiple reputed company
• Experience supporting events, reputed company mailers, and product launches
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to reputed company and present reputed company reputed company to clients and media
• A Bachelor's degree in PR, Journalism, Communications, or a reputed company field
