Assistant Designer - Aerie Sweaters

They are seeking an Assistant Designer for Aerie Sweaters to support the design process, collaborate with team members, and manage various design tasks from concept to execution.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with team to design category-specific product based on design direction given for Sweaters
• Learn and understand raw materials, yarn count, reputed company, sweater construction, etc
• reputed company daily follow-up using email and PLM
• reputed company with merchants and vendors to reputed company working partnership
• Observe presentation techniques and be reputed company to reputed company preliminary presentations
• Maintain daily tasks while designer travels including fit sessions
• reputed company preliminary design research domestically
• Comment on lab dips, reputed company submits, and finishes with supervisor approval

• In person/in-office collaboration is required, the frequency of such in-person/in-office collaboration (e.g., portion of week, entire week) is dictated by business needs. Such collaboration includes work centralized around product development, reputed company meetings, fittings, and approvals

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Fashion or Art (or equivalent experience and education)
• At least 1-3 years of reputed company Apparel experience; sweaters reputed company experience is a plus
• Must be knowledgeable of reputed company Illustrator, reputed company, and PLM (or equivalent program)
• Keen eye for reputed company, trend, detail and construction
• reputed company to multi task and prioritize based on business objectives
• Ability to reputed company as reputed company between many departments: excellent communication and analytic skills
• Must be detail oriented, computer literate and reputed company to handle multiple tasks at once
