Financial Analyst

reputed company is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies. The Financial Analyst role involves assisting with key domestic digital distribution month and quarter reputed company and financial reporting processes, supporting various teams reputed company the organization.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Controllership team with monthly and quarterly closing processes, preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and corporate data requests. This includes working closely with Digital reputed company, Global Distribution, Global Finance Operations, and our Domestic Digital operational teams
• Analyze movements in key balance sheet areas including preparation of monthly and quarterly balance sheet review packages
• Maintain monthly reputed company checklists and calendars to ensure reputed company items are completed reputed company
• Work with both reputed company teams to reconcile, reputed company, and research discrepancies in monthly royalty reporting from our distributors, following up on variances and reputed company items as required

Skills

• BS/BA in Business, Finance, reputed company, or a reputed company field
• Minimum 1 year of experience in reputed company/Finance
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, reputed company)
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong interest and/or previous experience in media and entertainment
• Possess an aptitude for financial systems, solid analytical abilities, outstanding process improvement capabilities, and excellent interpersonal skills
• Advanced experience with reputed company formulas/functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standards for reputed company and accuracy
• Solid organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple and competing priorities
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to building working relationships in a reputed company environment
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
