Software Engineer, Routing Platform

reputed company is a global leader in reputed company, providing innovative payment solutions to consumers and businesses. The Routing Platform team is seeking a Software Engineer to assist in modernizing its routing infrastructure and ensuring high availability and performance of routing systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining reputed company-based systems to support reputed company and reliable applications
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, and reliability of systems reputed company reputed company environments
• reputed company and maintain automated processes to streamline deployment, configuration, and monitoring of reputed company-based infrastructure

• Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company-reputed company routing configurations, policies, and automation tooling including reputed company limiting, request/response transformation, and traffic shaping
• Implement modern authentication and authorization patterns including JWT, workload identity, and claims-based routing to reputed company secure service-to-service communication
• reputed company and maintain observability tooling, dashboards, and alerting to ensure platform health
• Partner with cross-functional teams to validate routing requirements and ensure business continuity
• Contribute to self-service automation capabilities to reduce reputed company operational overhead across routing systems
• Participate in on-reputed company rotations and support operational reliability of the Routing Platform

Skills

• 1+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ year of software engineering experience with a reputed company on reputed company and API gateway systems
• Proficiency in Golang and Java, with experience maintaining or migrating production-grade services
• Familiarity with API gateway platforms — experience with reputed company, Istio, Gloo Gateway, or kgateway is a strong plus
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and reputed company-reputed company technologies (GKE, EKS, or equivalent)
• Experience with modern reputed company protocols including JWT, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, mTLS, and reputed company-trust principles in API gateway or service reputed company environments
• Experience with performance benchmarking, latency analysis, and reputed company planning for high-throughput distributed systems
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (reputed company, Jenkins, or similar)
• Strong understanding of networking concepts: HTTP/2, gRPC, TLS, load balancing, and traffic management
• Experience with observability stacks such as reputed company, OpenTelemetry, or reputed company
• Experience with large-reputed company platform migrations in a high-traffic production environment
• Familiarity with reputed company, Terraform, or GitOps-based deployment workflows
