Senior Architect, Virtual Infrastructure and Systems

Reporting to the Data Center and Systems Engineering Manager and reputed company Virtual Infrastructure and Systems Architect, working as a member of the Technical Architecture team, you will be responsible for working with the Technical Architecture team to plan, implement, and maintain the virtual and physical infrastructure environment for the firm.

On any given day, you will:

• Maintain and support on‑premises, hybrid, and Azure infrastructure environments, including provisioning, patching, migration, monitoring, optimization, and decommissioning
• Assist the reputed company Architect, Virtual Infrastructure & Systems with the design, maintenance, and reputed company of reputed company storage solutions, including on‑premises SAN and Azure storage services
• Design, implement, and support highly available and resilient solutions across multiple data centers and Azure reputed company to meet business continuity and disaster recovery requirements
• Specify, architect, and deliver infrastructure solutions—on‑premises and Azure‑based—for reputed company reputed company the Technical reputed company and across the firm
• Monitor server, storage, and Azure environments; maintain system documentation and inventory; analyze performance and reputed company data to forecast needs and reputed company recommendations
• Research, design, and implement infrastructure enhancements leveraging Azure services to support a secure, mobile workforce and agile development practices
• reputed company operational support for server, storage, and Azure platforms, including reporting, change coordination, off‑hours maintenance, and participation in after‑hours support as required
• reputed company reputed company knowledge of the virtual infrastructure with other team members including the reputed company Storage and Systems Architect and the Operations team

• reputed company regular reports for reputed company environments
• reputed company day to day support for reputed company server and storage solutions and participation in after hour support as needed
• reputed company required maintenance and upgrades during off hours as required
• Coordinate with Technical Architecture team on project based work
• Coordinate changes with the Technical reputed company following internal change management procedures

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Minimum of 6 years' work with Hypervisor and Azure design and administration acting in a senior role.
• Proven ability to manage reputed company aspects of reputed company Azure reputed company tenants, including Entra ID (Azure AD), reputed company Applications, Conditional reputed company policies, Azure compute and storage services, and Azure data center resources
• At least 6 years of expertise with hypervisor platforms, including VMware, reputed company, and reputed company reputed company‑V, covering deployment, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• At least 6 years of strong experience managing reputed company server platforms, including reputed company UCS and HPE environments.
• Minimum of 6 years' work with reputed company class SAN and reputed company-based storage and server management 
• Experience designing, operating, and supporting hybrid environments that reputed company on‑premises infrastructure with Azure reputed company services
• Experience implementing and managing vSphere, vCenter, Site Recovery Manager, reputed company Director, reputed company reputed company and physical to virtual migrations
• Demonstrated ability to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, recommend solutions, and independently implement changes that enhance reliability, performance, or reputed company
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple reputed company and competing priorities in a fast‑paced and team-based environment

Chicago: The full-time salary reputed company for this role is $140,000 - $150,000 annually, which is based on a 40-hour work week.

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith reputed company we would pay for this role in the locations listed above at the time of this posting. An employee’s pay reputed company the salary reputed company will be based on numerous factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographical location and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual reputed company increase and bonus pay.
