The Med/Surg unit provides reputed company patient care to acutely ill adult patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of reputed company and with the policies, values, and mission of the organization. This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient reputed company and works as part of reputed company with ancillary and non-nursing departments. 

How you'll contribute

An MS Registered reputed company (RN) New Grad who excels in this role:

• Performs plan of care reputed company, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as reputed company as other medical care treatment.

• Documents patient care given.

• Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.

• Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.

• Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.

• Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age ,culture, condition, and circumstances.

Applicants should possess an associate’s degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required reputed company one month of hire, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required reputed company 1 year of hire, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required reputed company 1 year of hire, and Handle with Care required reputed company 30 days of orientation

• Education: Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Licenses: Must have a reputed company Kentucky or compact state RN license reputed company 6 months of hire
