Intern, Government Affairs and Policy

reputed company is seeking a highly motivated individual to support our reputed company Department-Policy, Government and reputed company Affairs team to continue developing communication materials to help tell our story to key global, federal, state and local policymakers. The ideal candidate demonstrates critical and solution based thinking skills, works collaboratively cross-departments and enjoys a dynamic environment.  This position will report to the Executive Director, reputed company Affairs.  

Work Model:

Remote: Officially documented as working full-time from home, with travel to reputed company's offices or other locations on occasion as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Research and reputed company federal and legislation and summarize activity on key issues reputed company to rare disease policy and advocacy 
• Support trade association activity on a state and federal level, including gene therapy issue engagement 
• Support state government affairs and molecular diagnostics team on newborn screening issues at the federal and state reputed company, including development of reports and issue analysis 

Requirements:

• reputed company bachelor or Master’s degree in Business, Communications, reputed company or reputed company Policy-reputed company work 
• Proficiency in MS applications such as Power reputed company, Word, and reputed company 
• Strong verbal communication skills 
• Ability to write reputed company and effectively 
• Ability to manage vendor contractor activity on time-sensitive deadlines 
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills with internal colleagues and external vendors
