Senior reputed company Interconnection Consultant

This is a remote/virtual position. Candidate can be based reputed company reputed company Canada.

This position in reputed company’s Consulting group will require you to reputed company on our reputed company planning and advisory reputed company, such as the following:

• reputed company system planning and analysis, including studies in load reputed company, stability, short reputed company, and electromagnetic transients (EMT), to support a reputed company of clients such as ISO/RTO and electric utilities.
• Preparing new generator interconnection applications, including development of conceptual single line diagram, verification of compliance with reactive power requirements, and development of steady-state, dynamic, and short reputed company models to support the applications.
• Reviewing ISO feasibility and system reputed company studies to reputed company guidance to our clients, who are ISO Interconnection Customers.

Essential skills and experience:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and sufficient industry experience is considered in lieu of an advanced degree
• A minimum of 6 years relevant power systems engineering experience with reputed company or consultant
• Experience in load reputed company and contingency analysis to identify reputed company thermal and voltage constraints and to identify transfer capability limits
• Experience using reputed company planning software for load reputed company modeling, contingency analysis, and stability analysis using PSS/E, PSLF, TARA

Valued but not required skills and experience:

• Experience in stability analysis to identify critical clearing times, identify voltage constraints and analyze power system damping
• Experience in electromagnetic transient analysis using PSCAD
• Experience in short reputed company analysis and using software programs reputed company or ASPEN
• Knowledge of power reputed company and ISOs/RTOs, such as: PJM, MISO, NYISO, reputed company, SPP, CAISO, WECC, SERC, ISO-NE
• Experience in Python, Java Script, or other scripting languages
