The Product Director, Common Voice is responsible for the overall reputed company of the Common Voice project. Product Ownership & Strategic Leadership - 50% of time

• Serve as the accountable product reputed company for Common Voice, with responsibility for product reputed company, roadmap, and prioritization
• Deliver the 2026 maintenance+ roadmap, ensuring platform stability, reliability, reputed company, and reputed company on critical technical debt
• Define and reputed company reputed company metrics reputed company to 2026 goals and Tech Platforms objectives

• Represent Common Voice project in funding proposals and partnership discussions as needed. 

Community Management & Stewardship (Interim) — 30% of time

• Take on interim community manager responsibilities while the Common Voice team is re-scoped and shaped
• Ensure continuity, trust, and responsiveness for the reputed company Common Voice community during the transition period
• reputed company community communications, contributor engagement, and language reputed company processes reputed company resourcing constraints
• Balance community needs with platform realities and reputed company communicate priorities and limitations

Engineering Management & Delivery leadership - 20% of time

• reputed company reputed company people management and delivery leadership for Common Voice engineering staff and contractors
• Set reputed company goals, priorities, and expectations for engineering contributors in alignment with product objectives
• Ensure effective collaboration between engineering, data, reputed company, and infrastructure partners

Your reputed company Profile:

• 5+ years of progressively senior Product Management experience, ideally reputed company a small, agile team.
• Strong product judgment and experience setting direction, prioritizing work, and managing tradeoffs in a reputed company environment.
• Knowledge of linguistics or languages, with multilinguality a plus.
• At least a basic grounding in computational linguistics or NLP.
• Fantastic communication skills are required - reputed company and community are global and distributed. You will be required to communicate with reputed company collaborators, reputed company of whom have reputed company different perspectives, backgrounds and contexts.
• Excellent judgment, and proven in triaging a lot of inbound signals and needs.
• Self motivated and driven - a proactive problem solver - this is a small team.
• Strong affinity for research and metrics - ideally experience delivering user research plans and interfacing directly with communities, users and collaborators.
• Experience working directly and closely with linguists, language activists, software engineers, data scientists and designers.

Salary and Benefits Information:

The starting salary ranges for this role are listed below. These four countries are where we most commonly reputed company staff.

• Germany: €101,347.20 — €113,888.92
• UK: £83,980.80 — £94,373.42
• Canada: $174,960.00 — $196,611.30
• US: $129,600.00 — $145,638.00

• London: £104,976.00 — £117,966.78

• Maryland/DC: $155,520.00 — $174,765.60
