SAH Digital Coordinator (Temporary)

Remote, USA Full-time Posted 2026-04-22

Position Summary:

This temporary role (11 months) will draft and produce social media and web content to raise awareness, engage, and mobilize support for national Stop AAPI Hate programs, and provide general communications team support.

About Stop AAPI Hate:

Stop AAPI Hate is a US-based coalition dedicated to fighting racism and discrimination against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. We strive to advance the multiracial movement for equity and justice by raising awareness about anti-AAPI hate, working in solidarity with allied communities, and advocating for comprehensive solutions that tackle the root causes of race-based hate.

Position Overview

The Digital Coordinator will be responsible for Stop AAPI Hate’s (SAH) day-to-day social media content production, publishing, and platform management, while also supporting web content drafting, online action form creation, website publishing, and email production for our affiliated 501(c)(4). This is a temporary (11-month) hands-on production-focused role that supports our advocacy, engagement, and fundraising work and is for someone who is comfortable moving quickly, producing compelling digital content, and meeting multiple deadlines.

This position plays a supporting role in leveraging the power of social media, web, and email to advance SAH’s strategic and digital communications goals, including raising awareness for coalition research and programs; mobilizing community supporters; shifting views around race and discrimination; and expanding SAH's movement for racial justice. The ideal candidate is both creative and technically proficient, able to draft copy, build graphics in Canva or similar online tools, schedule posts, build emails in a CRM, and publish website content and online action forms with strong attention to detail.

The Digital Coordinator works closely with the coalition’s Strategic Communications team — including the Digital Director, Director of Communications, Senior Communications Manager, and Communications Manager. This role works regularly with consultants and internal cross-team stakeholders, and with external partners as needed. This position reports to the Stop AAPI Hate Social Media Manager
