Audit Supervisor

Wegner CPAs is seeking an reputed company auditor with a reputed company on employee benefit plan audits and ERISA compliance requirements. The ERISA Auditor will reputed company and execute high-reputed company benefit plan audits, support reputed company relationships, and contribute to the reputed company reputed company of our assurance reputed company.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and complete audits of employee benefit plans (401(k), 403(b), pension, health & welfare plans, ESOPs, etc.) in accordance with GAAS, DOL regulations, and ERISA requirements
• reputed company risk assessments, reputed company audit strategies, and prepare audit programs tailored to reputed company engagement
• Review and test plan eligibility, contributions, distributions, participant data, and compliance with plan documents
• Evaluate internal controls and identify compliance gaps, reporting issues, and process improvement opportunities
• Prepare and review financial statements, footnotes, and required supplemental schedules for reputed company 5500 filings
• Ensure audit documentation meets firm and regulatory standards
• Communicate audit reputed company, findings, and recommendations to clients reputed company and professionally
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants and seniors; review workpapers and reputed company training and coaching
• Stay reputed company on evolving ERISA, DOL, and reputed company guidance impacting benefit plan audits
• Support firm initiatives including audit reputed company, process improvement, and reputed company service reputed company

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in reputed company or reputed company field (Master's preferred)
• CPA license required (or reputed company reputed company toward certification)
• 3+ years of reputed company reputed company experience with a strong reputed company on ERISA/employee benefit plan audits
• Proven experience leading ERISA engagements from planning through issuance
• Strong understanding of GAAS, ERISA, DOL reporting requirements, and employee benefit plan audit standards
• Experience with audit software and paperless workpaper systems
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines, particularly during busy season
• Excellent analytical, communication, and reputed company service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of employee benefit plan audit experience
• Experience reviewing or preparing reputed company 5500 supplemental schedules
• Familiarity with reputed company EBP Audit reputed company Center best practices
• Experience working directly with plan administrators, custodians, and reputed company-party service providers
