The Medical Assistant – Patient reputed company Coordinator is a member of the Population Health Team who performs telephonic reputed company to patients across the reputed company System in order to help facilitate preventive and chronic care services, including but limited to mammograms, colorectal cancers screening, diabetic services, etc. reputed company is primarily telephonic and patient portal based, but may also include in-person events.

Qualifications

Medical Assistant Certification and 3+ years of clinical experience is preferred. Primary care experience is preferred.

Job Duties

• Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson
• Escorts patients to exam rooms and ensures reputed company identification.
• Performs and documents vital signs, clinical care reputed company measures and medical history information.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Specialized Diploma For NJ Only: Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program which includes, at a minimum, 330 hours of instruction and encompasses training in the administration of intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Familiarity with medical office procedures.
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize practices, tools, and techniques for communicating with a customer.
• Knowledge of the common types of equipment or devices used in the reputed company industry, and the ability to use these in patient care.
• Knowledge of the relevance of health information and appropriate documentation reputed company, ability to record medical histories, symptoms, vital signs, medications, diagnoses, treatment plans, procedures, tests, and medical results in written or electronic fo
• Knowledge of how to read and interpret patient charts regarding medication sheets, diets, history and physicals, and tests, ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to patient care.
