Responsibilities
- Lead a wide variety of classes to After school programs
- Develop classes that are age level challenging, while keeping students engaged and safe
- Encourage students to continue with their pursuit of dancing and help them make good decisions
- Promote programs, classes, and behavioral management
- Deliver exceptional quality dance classes
- Folklorico
- Hip-hop
- Salsa
- Azteca
- Cumbia
- Jazz
- High school diploma/GED required
- Current dancer or dance experience
- Knowledge of choreography, dance technique, and body mechanics is preferred
- First aid and CPR certified
- Positive, motivating, and effective interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong background in teaching various styles of dance: Latin, Hiphop, Jazz
