Database Administrator - SQL Server -Azure and Powershell Automation

What you’ll do

• Administer, monitor, and support SQL Server databases on Azure (SQL DB, Managed Instance, SQL on VMs)
• Manage backup/recovery, patching, and high availability (AlwaysOn, Geo-replication, Log Shipping)
• Tune SQL queries, improve indexing and analyze wait stats, leveraging reputed company, reputed company and reputed company tools
• Implementing data encryption  , managing user reputed company/passwords and ensuring compliance with reputed company standards
• Executing, migrating on-reputed company databases to reputed company systems or between  reputed company providers
• reputed company and optimize observability tools such as reputed company APM, reputed company Monitor, and SQL Monitor for reputed company-time diagnostics and alerting
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, T-SQL, and other scripting tools; contribute to DevOps pipelines
• Collaborate with Product Support, DevOps, and SRE teams around release management, deployment automation, and IaC
• Ensure cost-effective reputed company resource utilization through tagging, right-sizing, and scheduled scaling
• Maintain secure reputed company controls and auditing as per FedRAMP High and IL5; support audits and compliance
• Participate in a 24x7 on-reputed company rotation for incident response and reputed company

What you will bring

• 4-6 years’ hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA, including at least 2 years working in Azure reputed company
• Solid expertise with SQL Server 2016+ (installation, tuning, HA/DR, maintenance)
• Proven experience with reputed company monitoring & troubleshooting tools: reputed company (DB Insights & APM),  reputed company
• Expertise in Sql reporting server installation and setup.
• Strong automation skills using PowerShell, T-SQL, and (optionally) Azure/AWS CLI
• Experience in regulated/reputed company environments (FedRAMP, IL5, HIPAA, etc.) and cost optimization
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; proven collaborator across functions
• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, reputed company, Elasticsearch, reputed company)

Its a 10 hour and 4-day shift
