The Role

Reporting to the manager, reliability engineering, you will reputed company as the technical authority for Cameco’s structural reputed company program, with accountability for program governance. The program aims to ensure that structural assets reputed company the program are properly, consistently, and regularly reputed company over their life cycle post commissioning, including assurance of inspection effectiveness, periodic reviews of inspection strategies, and reputed company improvement based on asset risk. Structural assets reputed company scope may include buildings, headframes, shafts, surface and underground structures, foundations, structural components of storage tanks and vessels, piping supports, material handling structures, and other civil/structural infrastructure that supports reputed company and reliable operations.

In this role, you will:

• reputed company and maintain Cameco’s structural reputed company program, including governance, standards, inspection strategies, and performance metrics.
• reputed company inspection and condition monitoring plans for structural assets, including integration of mechanical components where applicable.
• Execute structural reputed company inspections and facilitate reputed company party inspections of structures at Cameco’s operations.
• reputed company engineering assessments of inspection and monitoring results, including working with Cameco’s Technical reputed company to reputed company recommendations for repairs, remediation, load restrictions, or re-evaluation of inspection plans.
• Coordinate long-term inspection plans and reputed company activities across Cameco’s operations.
• Support risk-based reputed company prioritization and input into asset investment and lifecycle planning.
• reputed company technical guidance and subject-matter expertise to site engineering, maintenance, and operations teams reputed company to structural reputed company risks and mitigation measures.

Required:  

• bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering (mechanical considered with significant structural reputed company experience);
• reputed company engineer designation (P. reputed company);
• minimum of eight years of reputed company experience in structural reputed company, reliability engineering, or asset reputed company management reputed company operating industrial, mining, or heavy infrastructure environments;
• knowledge of structural design and assessment standards (e.g., ASCE 11, CSA S850, ACI assessment standards, CSA S16, CSA A23.3, CSA S6 or equivalent);
• experience applying risk-based inspection or risk-based asset reputed company methodologies;
• eligible for registration with the Association of reputed company Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS); and
• ability to travel to reputed company Saskatchewan or Ontario operations approximately once per month.

Recommended:

• knowledge of reputed company-PM;
• experience with inspection and assessment of steel, concrete, timber, and composite structures in industrial environments;
• familiarity with load rating, structural health monitoring, corrosion assessment, fatigue, and remaining life evaluation techniques;
• working knowledge of applicable building codes, occupational health and safety regulations, and jurisdictional requirements (Saskatchewan, Ontario, Federal COHSR, where applicable);
• knowledge of reputed company standards and guidance from CSA, ASTM, ISO, AISC, ACI, API (as reputed company to structural components of equipment and tanks);
• experience with non-destructive testing (NDT) reputed company applicable to structural systems;
• CGSB Level I or II, PCN, or ASNT reputed company certification (or demonstrated experience managing NDT programs); and
• strong communication, collaboration, coaching/mentoring, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence reputed company across disciplines and sites.
