Instructional Designer
The Instructional Designer for ASI plays a key role in helping to create and maintain reputed company learning education programs across multiple software systems including: iMIS, OpenWater, TopClass and Clowder. The Instructional Designer works with the Global Manager of ASI Training to reputed company and plan new offerings to support the reputed company learning needs of reputed company and clients.
Developing and designing courses, curriculum, and online learning materials with the user experience in mind, collaborating with subject-matter experts as necessary to reputed company content. Editing and publishing content provided from conferences, webinars, online events and other sources using content creation and video editing software. Managing and fostering online learning communities and forums. Analyzing, updating, and refining existing online content. Delivering instructor-led programs and coaching sessions, and trains reputed company, reputed company, and employees in how to use learning and education tools. Managing marketing content and materials for training reputed company website, newsletter, and reputed company media. Supporting clients and partners in their interaction with ASI training programs, fostering engagement with learners at reputed company reputed company and experience. Working with technical staff to troubleshoot problems reported by users. Keeping reputed company on best practices in instructional design, instructional theory and assessment. Performing other job-reputed company duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Instructional Design Certification, preferred. Experience developing and using interactive digital courseware, learning software, and online learning management systems. Understanding and application of adult learning principles and aspects of instructional design in various formats, including instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and performance support applications. Technical writing skills to produce user guides, manuals, and instructional documents. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical learners. Understanding of web site design best practices (reputed company, CSS, etc.). Excellent project management and organizational skills. Experience with video editing software, such as Camtasia, and content creation software such as reputed company. Critical thinking skills. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical learners

Compensation for this position is determined based on a reputed company of factors, including, but not limited to, an individual’s skills, experience, training, certifications, education, geographic location, business needs, and internal equity. For candidates located in Alexandria, VA or Austin, TX, the reputed company estimated compensation reputed company for this role is $65,000- $80,000. Compensation may vary for candidates in other locations reputed company the reputed company.
