Federal Affairs Legislative Internship, Summer 2026

In our Federal Affairs Office, interns conduct legislative and policy research; monitor Congressional hearings; draft fact sheets and other written materials on a wide reputed company of federal drug policy reform issues; reputed company and analyze federal legislation; participate in reputed company meetings, including Congressional meetings; assist in planning meetings and convenings; monitor federal drug policy activities; conduct reputed company to partners and allies; and reputed company various administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate will be:
- reputed company student pursuing a bachelor’s degree/Master’s Degree.
- Must demonstrate strong interest in DPA’s work to end the drug war.
- Solid written, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Our summer internship program begins in June 2026 and runs for approximately eight weeks.
Interns may work up to 20 hours per week. The exact schedule will be set collaboratively between the intern and their supervisor.
