Mostly Sports Intern

<p data-start="187" data-end="617">Barstool Sports is seeking a Mostly Sports Intern to join our team for the summer. Mostly Sports covers the daily world of sports and beyond, blending commentary, internet culture, and fan-driven energy into a fast-growing live show. This role is perfect for someone who lives and breathes sports, understands the digital content landscape, and wants hands-on experience in both live production and long-form content creation.</p> <p data-start="619" data-end="705">This internship runs from <strong>May 26</strong> to <strong>August 28</strong> and is based <strong>100%</strong> in our Chicago office.</p> <h3 data-section-id="16pjhgj" data-start="707" data-end="725">What You'll Do</h3> <ul> <li data-start="729" data-end="871">Assist in the daily production of Mostly Sports, including studio setup, managing technical elements, and supporting smooth live broadcasts.</li> <li data-start="874" data-end="1030">Work closely with the team to expand Mostly Sports’ long-form content output, including vlogs, extended cuts, and live streams beyond the core daily show.</li> <li data-start="1033" data-end="1181">Help plan, shoot, and edit additional content initiatives for the summer, with a focus on longer-form storytelling and behind-the-scenes coverage.</li> <li data-start="1184" data-end="1299">Clip, edit, and distribute highlights, debates, and viral sports moments across TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter/X.</li> <li data-start="1302" data-end="1433">Collaborate with the production team to create engaging, shareable sports content that aligns with the show’s voice and audience.</li> <li data-start="1436" data-end="1534">Monitor trending sports news and internet moments to help identify timely content opportunities.</li> <li data-start="1537" data-end="1634">Engage with fans across platforms and help drive conversation during and after live broadcasts.</li> <li data-start="1637" data-end="1716">Track performance metrics across platforms and identify growth opportunities.</li> <li data-start="1719" data-end="1846">Work Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, in-office, with flexibility for live events and occasional weekend coverage as needed.</li> </ul> <h3 data-section-id="1h3w55h" data-start="1848" data-end="1865">What You Have</h3> <ul> <li data-start="1869" data-end="1958">A strong passion for sports and deep familiarity with the Mostly Sports brand and tone.</li> <li data-start="1961" data-end="2037">Understanding of major sports leagues, storylines, and internet discourse.</li> <li data-start="2040" data-end="2162">Demonstrated interest or experience in long-form video content (vlogs, YouTube-style content, live streams, or similar).</li> <li data-start="2165" data-end="2321">Proficiency or strong working knowledge of video editing tools (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, or similar), with an emphasis on longer-form editing workflows.</li> <li data-start="2324" data-end="2422">Experience managing social media and driving engagement across Twitter/X, Instagram, and TikTok.</li> <li data-start="2425" data-end="2504">Basic graphic design skills (Photoshop or similar) for social and on-air use.</li> <li data-start="2507" data-end="2581">Strong organization and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li data-start="2584" data-end="2664">A proactive, self-starting mindset with confidence in a live production setting.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Pay Rate:</strong> $16.60/hr</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><em><strong>*THIS INTERNSHIP IS NOT BENEFITS ELIGIBLE*</strong></em></span></p><div class="content-conclusion"><div>Barstool Sports is a company that will drive the way media is created and consumed for years to come.
