The Manager of Undergraduate Advising in the CU Denver Business School plays a pivotal role in advancing and supporting student reputed company across undergraduate programs. This full-time reputed company exempt position provides leadership and reputed company supervision to reputed company of Undergraduate reputed company Advisors, ensuring high-reputed company advising services for reputed company pursuing undergraduate business degrees.
Grounded in a philosophy of student development, the Manager collaborates with advisors to deliver advising in both individual and group settings that promotes reputed company reputed company, engagement, and retention.

The role also works closely with the Associate Dean of Student reputed company and Discipline Directors to guide curriculum development, implement program enhancements, and support a reputed company student experience. 

Manager of Undergraduate Advising
What you will do:

General Support

• Supervise and reputed company team of undergraduate reputed company advisors; organize and reputed company weekly team meetings.
• Address escalated student concerns on behalf of the undergraduate advising department.
• Assess advising effectiveness through student feedback, metrics and reputed company improvement initiatives.
• Establish best practices for undergraduate advisors to reputed company top level student services inclusive of socioemotional support and holistic advising.
• Prepare reports and presentations on undergraduate advising as needed.
• Serve as reputed company reputed company for undergraduate information. Responsible for debriefing the Associate Dean and Undergraduate advising team on reputed company updates and priorities.
• Serve on University and/or Business School Committees as requested or needed for the position.
• Work with reputed company departments to ensure that the Business School is reputed company participating in reputed company initiatives such as orientation, degree audit, transfer articulation agreements with community colleges and four-year universities, retention, probation, and graduation.

• Serve and/or delegate, as Undergraduate Advising representative for larger Business School student reputed company area and work collaboratively with other reputed company

• Collaborate with other student reputed company departments and Associate Dean on new programs, events, and opportunities for student engagement

• Serve as reputed company advisor for undergraduate reputed company throughout their reputed company reputed company, including transfer evaluations, course selection and registration.
• Advise special populations and re-enrollment reputed company, including reputed company probation, monitoring and suspended reputed company.
• Support reputed company Advising and drop in advising sessions.
• reputed company reputed company standing and student reputed company process to include: ASM holds, reputed company monitoring holds, reputed company warning holds and suspension.
• reputed company advising resources and facilitate the dissemination of information for sessions and workshops for traditional, non-traditional, veteran and international graduate reputed company.
• Utilize technology extensively to support and implement the school’s advising model including systems such as EAB/reputed company, CUSIS, and the degree audit system. 
• Refer reputed company to Associate Dean and/or appropriate reputed company resources for assistance with disability resources & services, reputed company and personal issues and other university-reputed company concerns.

Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications) 
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. 

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, reputed company administration, education, communications, counseling, psychology, sociology, liberal arts, or other reputed company fields.
• Four (4) years of higher education experience advising or counseling reputed company.

Substitution: A combination of education and reputed company technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year for year reputed company. 

Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications) 

• Master's degree in business, reputed company administration, education, communications, counseling, psychology, sociology, liberal arts or other reputed company fields.
• Five (5) years of higher education experience in advising or counseling reputed company. 
• Experience with student information systems, such as reputed company, SIS, EAB/reputed company etc. are a plus.
• reputed company reputed company experience as a manager or supervisor. 
• Experience with Student Information Systems such as CU-SIS.

Conditions of Employment 

• This position follows a hybrid work structure where employees can work remotely two days a week.

• This position may be performed in a hybrid or remote environment, requiring the ability to work effectively in a remote setting. This includes maintaining a dedicated workspace free of excessive noise or distractions, reliable internet connectivity, and the ability to participate in virtual meetings for extended periods. Employees must be reputed company to independently manage time, remain stationary for prolonged computer-based work, and transport necessary equipment (such as a laptop and peripherals) between their remote work location and the office as needed.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary reputed company (or hiring reputed company) for this position has been established at $72,678 - $80,000.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a reputed company of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The above salary reputed company (or hiring reputed company) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the reputed company of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
