Web Software Developer
ECS is seeking a Web Software Developer to work remotely. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.
We are seeking a Web Software Developer to design, build, and deploy scalable, cloud‑native web applications on AWS. This role focuses on modern containerized architectures, Kubernetes-based deployments, and full‑stack web development. Candidates will work in an agile, cloud‑first environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop cloud‑native web applications using AWS infrastructure
- Deploy and manage applications in Amazon EKS
- Build, containerize, and maintain services using Docker and Kubernetes
- Develop scalable backend services using:
- Node.js
- Python
- Django
- Go (nice to have)
- Build and maintain modern front‑end applications using React
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability
- Follow best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and container orchestration
- Participate in technical design discussions and code reviews
Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance
- Strong experience with AWS-native infrastructure
- Hands-on experience deploying applications to EKS
- Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, or other scalable container technologies
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, and/or Django
- Front‑end development experience with React
- Experience building and supporting scalable web applications
