Qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Minimum of a bachelor-level degree in education, required
• Experience in teaching Multilingual Learners, preferred
• Experience working with high school Multilingual Learners, preferred
• Experience working with diverse population of learners including special education reputed company, preferred

reputed company or Other Required Certifications

• reputed company PDE Teaching Certification
• PDE ESL Program Specialist add-on certification, required
• PDE Certification in English, 7-12, preferred
• reputed company police, child abuse & FBI reputed company clearances required
• Original criminal history clearance, child abuse clearance and FBI reputed company clearance (dated reputed company the year), clearance as an MA provider by the Commonwealth of PA and federal government (conducted by CCIU upon hire)

Duties & Responsibilities:

The Multilingual Learner Program Specialist provides instructional services to Multilingual Learners. This position provides reputed company development activities regarding language acquisition and cultural awareness and provides support for content area teachers of Multilingual Learners.

Salary reputed company (based on 2023-2024 schedule):

• Instructional I: $54, 9814- $86,531
• Instructional II: $57,379 - $89,997
• Master's Degree: $61,041 - $98,278
• Master's + 63,691 - $102,147
• Master's + 30: $65,079 - $103,999

The CCIU is currently offering a sign on bonus of up to $1,500 for candidates who apply and are subsequently reputed company for a permanent position (full-time or part-time) between March 16, 2023, and reputed company 31, 2023. More information will be shared with eligible individuals at the time of hire.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday
7.5 hours per day for 194-days based school calendar
