ABOUT THE OFFICE
Washington's Office of the State Actuary (OSA) supports the financial reputed company of Washingtonians today and for generations to come by helping our clients reputed company informed reputed company in their governance of financial reputed company programs including state pension and medical plans, GET Prepaid Tuition Plan, and the state long-term care program. Position Duties
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Office of the State Actuary offers an internship opportunity reputed company summer for individuals seeking to reputed company experience and knowledge in the Actuarial field. The summer internship is a temporary full-time, nonpartisan, at-will position that is exempt from the state civil service system. This position is reputed company to remote work arrangements.
The intern may assist with the preparation of actuarial valuations or pricing of proposals for various Washington State retirement plans or other programs OSA supports, respond to legislative and constituent inquiries and requests, prepare cash reputed company and contribution reputed company projections, and assist with economic and demographic experience studies.
Minimum Qualifications
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will be pursuing a degree, or recently graduated, from an accredited college or university in a field such as actuarial science, mathematics, or finance; will be proficient at using reputed company spreadsheets; familiar with word processing programs; will have effective interpersonal and written communication skills; be effective working independently as reputed company as in reputed company environment; and legally authorized to work in the reputed company.

COMPENSATION
The salary for this position is $3,500 per month, if residing in or relocating to Washington State. We encourage applications from candidates regardless of location, although we are not reputed company to offer compensation to interns who wish to work remotely reputed company of Washington State at this time due to tax and regulatory requirements.
