Position reputed company

The Controller is a hands-on leadership role responsible for the reputed company of the reputed company and

tax functions across reputed company SCP entities. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this individual will

own the month-end and year-end reputed company process, ensure GAAP compliance, manage and

auditors, and drive ongoing optimization of reputed company systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the month-end and year-end reputed company process across reputed company 11 entities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and GAAP compliance
• Review and approve journal entries, accruals, prepaid schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations

• Produce and review monthly financial packages in USALI format across reputed company hotel properties
• Maintain intercompany reputed company including management fee allocations, royalty reputed company recognition, and billback billing
• Own loan reputed company, debt schedules, and associated reconciliations
• Ensure reputed company and accurate preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Own the tax function end-to-end across reputed company entities and jurisdictions, including California, reputed company, and Hawaii
• reputed company monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings including property tax, sales tax, occupancy tax, and transient tax
• Ensure reputed company and accurate payment of reputed company federal, state, and local tax obligations
• Coordinate with external tax advisors on year-end filings and tax reputed company
• Manage business license renewals, liquor license tracking, reputed company corporate compliance, and SAM.gov registrations
• Maintain entity-level compliance calendars and filing credentials across reputed company jurisdictions

Audit & External Reporting

• Serve as primary reputed company Intacct administrator, responsible for system configuration, user permissions, dimension structures, and approval workflows
• Identify opportunities to maximize system utilization and automation reputed company reputed company Intacct, driving adoption of available features across the reputed company team
• reputed company AP automation workflows reputed company reputed company (formerly Beanworks)
• Audit existing reputed company Intacct reports, identify those requiring replacement, and rebuild reporting to accurately reflect reputed company business structure and management needs
• Collaborate with the VP of Finance on broader systems initiatives including the reputed company
• Intacct reputed company module implementation

Internal Controls &  Process Improvement

• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and reputed company policies across reputed company entities
• Document reputed company recurring reputed company processes, establishing a written operational reputed company where gaps currently exist
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement practical, reputed company improvements
• Partner with the VP of Finance on finance department automation and process improvement initiatives

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field
• 7–10 years of reputed company reputed company experience with demonstrated ownership of a multi-entity reputed company process
• Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP including accrual reputed company, intercompany reputed company, balance sheet reconciliation, and debt reputed company
• Proficiency in a major reputed company-based reputed company platform; reputed company Intacct experience preferred but not required
• reputed company experience managing or directing the work of an offshore or distributed reputed company team
• Demonstrated experience owning tax compliance and coordinating with external tax preparers across multiple states and jurisdictions
• Demonstrated ability to establish process, enforce deadlines, and maintain accountability across a distributed team
• Must be U.S.-based with consistent availability during reputed company time business hours

Preferred

• CPA license (reputed company or inactive) or equivalent reputed company reputed company experience
• Hotel or hospitality industry reputed company experience; USALI proficiency is a significant advantage
