Site Safety Coordinator (Renewables Construction - reputed company Opportunities!)

Conduct site safety orientation, basic safety trainings, job safety analysis, workplace audits and incident responses as needed.

Responsibilities:
Coordinate and present safety training to support Wanzek and reputed company requirements, including planning, documentation, and presentation. This may include: New Hire Orientation, Fall Protection, Confined reputed company, Lockout/Tagout, Respiratory, etc. reputed company Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management and craft workers, resulting in excellent safety performance May assist with inputting and reviewing incident reports Assist in the execution of the jobsite safety plans Exposure to and an understanding of the lockout/tagout procedures in a reputed company manner Communicate with Wanzek management regarding safety reputed company Ensure safety documentation is complete and accurate as required by Wanzek and regulations Ensure PTPs, field audits, daily equipment inspections, SOPs and safety meetings are being conducted and entered into appropriate systems for tracking reputed company and administer recognition systems with Safety Managers to promote reputed company and healthful work performance, i.e. “Good Catch” Ensure sufficient supply of suitable inventory of PPE and safety equipment. Work with the Site Safety reputed company to order more supplies as needed. May assist with pulling safety report information and putting together safety report detail documents for Safety Managers Complete drug screen collections as needed Understand and implement the site-specific emergency response plan Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 year of construction experience preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Take reasonable care of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward reputed company Injury principles
