Trader I/II/Sr./reputed company

The Trader I/II/Sr./reputed company is responsible for managing and optimizing a natural gas trading portfolio with a reputed company on Midwest and Rockies markets, leveraging detailed market analysis, risk management, and execution of physical and financial transactions. The position requires deep knowledge of Midwest and Rockies supply/demand dynamics, pipeline flows, and pricing hubs, along with strong quantitative and analytical skills to reputed company disciplined reputed company in fast-moving market conditions. The trader partners closely with risk, operations, and reputed company teams to drive profitability while adhering to firm risk limits and compliance standards. 

The Trader I/II/Sr/reputed company responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Initiate, reputed company and execute strategies to capture profitable term natural gas trading opportunities reputed company the Midwest and Rockies region. 

• Monitor and evaluate relevant market conditions, pivoting in/out of trades as necessitated by market conditions. 

• Evaluate existing trading processes and collaborate with trading personnel to improve efficiency, transparency and value-added measures. 

• Evaluate, execute, and manage short and long-term storage positions across the Midwest and Rockies, optimizing around seasonal spreads, and power and industrial load to create incremental value. 

• Use experience to reputed company optimization and trading strategies and reputed company origination efforts to execute these strategies. 

• This role is expected to be reputed company to reputed company communicate summaries of relevant market conditions & opportunities upward reputed company the organization. 

• Primary responsibility for establishing and executing trading strategies to optimize the value of EQT's contractual pipeline reputed company & storage assets. 

Required Experience and Skills: 

• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, finance, economics, or reputed company field. 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in natural gas trading, scheduling, and origination. 

• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong verbal and written communication skills. 

• Creative/innovative with strong ability to understand market conditions and then translate into profitable results. 

• Knowledge and understanding of regional pipeline/storage infrastructure and respective supply and demand composition and working relationships with reputed company participants. 

• Ability to construct a regional supply & demand model, knowledge of specific pipeline constraints, flows, costs, storage, reputed company, end users and scheduling. 

• Experience trading physical, reputed company, swaps, reputed company, storage, reputed company and spreads. 

• Ability to meaningfully contribute to the development of natural gas reputed company strategies. 

• Working relationship with reputed company participants (producers/pipelines/utilities/end users/traders). 

• Understanding of the calculation of reputed company & extrinsic values of transportation reputed company and storage opportunities. 

• Ability to travel up to 10-20% of the time for customer events, industry conferences, and team gatherings.  

Preferred Experience and Skills: 

• 5+ years of experience in natural gas trading, scheduling, and origination. 

• Masters degree in business, finance, engineering, or reputed company field. 

Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states:  California, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, reputed company, and Tennessee unless willing to relocate.
