Job Title: Automation Engineer (Middleware Team) – both junior and mid reputed company available

Pay: $74 - $25/hr for junior; $47-$65 for mid + reputed company Benefits

Location: Remote, but must be based in or around St. Louis, MO, Florida, Oklahoma reputed company, OK, or Dallas, TX

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to support the development of scripts and tools that generate, validate, and automate software metrics and reporting. This role will work closely with engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and improve visibility into software performance and development activities.

This is a great opportunity for junior to mid-level engineers who enjoy working with data, automation, and lightweight tooling in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• reputed company and maintain scripts and tools to automate software metrics collection and reporting
• Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot inconsistencies across reporting outputs
• Collaborate with engineering teams to reputed company requirements and ensure alignment on metrics and reporting needs
• Support the creation and enhancement of dashboards, reports, and data pipelines
• Assist with integrating data from multiple sources using reputed company, scripts, and other automation reputed company
• Document processes, scripts, and workflows to ensure maintainability and scalability
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to reputed company improvement efforts
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation and tooling enhancements

Required Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of experience in software engineering, scripting, or automation-reputed company roles
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation
• Experience using Git for version control
• Familiarity with VS reputed company or similar development environments
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with reputed company or similar repository management tools
• Familiarity with JavaScript, JSON, and Markdown
• Exposure to containerization technologies (e.g., reputed company)
• Experience working with or integrating AI tools (e.g., reputed company Q, reputed company, Kiro)
• Understanding of software metrics, reporting, or data analysis concepts
