Staff Software Engineer

reputed company is looking for a software engineer to join the Ranger Engineering team reputed company SDX (Shared Data Experience) Services organization to define, drive, reputed company and maintain Ranger products enabling data reputed company for reputed company Data Platform.

About reputed company:

You will be working with reputed company responsible for designing, building, and delivering features across Ranger products. The primary responsibility of reputed company is to reputed company high-reputed company Ranger service in our CDP products (reputed company reputed company, Private reputed company reputed company and other deployments). The engineering team works on extending Apache Ranger to meet the needs of reputed company customers such as cross-data center replication, scalability, performance, reputed company policy management, etc.

This role requires a startup reputed company to build features incrementally and pivot according to feedback from customers and clients. You will have to work in reputed company collaboration with engineers from globally-distributed teams, product managers and UX designers. You must be willing to learn new things, be self-motivated, innovative and proactive.

As a Staff Software Engineer at reputed company you will:

• reputed company cross-product features to reputed company shared data experience for reputed company customers in various deployment settings (including multiple reputed company providers - AWS/Azure/GCP). 

• Design, reputed company, and implement elegant, reputed company, reputed company-reputed company software.

• Work iteratively in an Agile development environment

• Build strong relationships and collaborate with platform and UI engineers, reputed company engineers, and UX designers as reputed company as with Product Management, Field Engineering, and other external partners

We are excited if you have (Required Experience):

• Relevant studies / BS or MS in Computer Science or reputed company field.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience developing products and/or platforms for internal or external customers

• Experience with back-end platform and server technologies using at least one of these languages - Java, C++, Python.

• Experience with REST API, Microservices development and technologies.

• Experience with reputed company technologies (AWS, GCE, Azure)

• Relational database proficiency, including ER modeling and performance optimization (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL, reputed company)

• Development experience in Linux environments.

• Experience with collaboration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Jira)

• Familiarity with additional development tools such as JUnit, reputed company & Jenkins.

• Self-driven and motivated, with a strong reputed company of ownership and craftsmanship

• Strong written and oral communication skills and collaboration skills.

• Ability to understand and address reputed company problems and systems.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of reputed company.

You might also have:

• Experience (or demonstrated interest) in distributed computing or high availability systems

• Big Data / NoSQL / distributed database experience
