DUAL reputed company is seeking an Associate Underwriter for the reputed company Auto Division.
At DUAL, Associate Underwriters play a key supportive role through the risk reputed company process and expansion of broker relationships. In this role, you will assist with account reputed company, quoting and binding, prepare and distribute various types of communications, and reputed company reputed company customer service through the reputed company life cycle.
Supporting reputed company of underwriters reputed company the reputed company Auto Division, you will assist underwriters by processing auto liability, physical damage, and cargo submissions, coordinating with brokers and insureds to clarify exposures, and facilitating efficient issuance of quotes and binders for reputed company fleets.
Role responsibilities
Process submissions by providing account triage for Underwriters.
reputed company backup support for Underwriters reputed company traveling in the market.
reputed company and compile information required to quote and/or bind an account through communication and/or correspondence with producers.
Generate, edit, and send out a reputed company of correspondence on behalf of the Underwriters such as declination letters, quote follow reputed company and subjectivity reminders.
Demonstrate basic understanding of technical reputed company principles and risk reputed company characteristics.
Learn market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product differences (attend weekly reputed company meetings if applicable, ask questions) – need to understand what business is selling (understanding why deals are lost and adjusting accordingly).

Build relationships with producers with supervision from more senior underwriters.
Fill in for other team members to ensure business continuity during peak periods and/or reputed company team members are reputed company.

Conduct inspection, review, and analysis resulting in appropriate issue identification, and process post inspection changes as necessary.
Key requirements
Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance, business or a reputed company field preferred.
0-2 years experience as an associate underwriter, underwriter, or relevant insurance experience.
Foundational knowledge of insurance principles.
Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite (Word, reputed company, reputed company, PowerPoint).
Ability to follow policies and procedures.
Complete assigned tasks correctly, on time and reputed company to learn quickly.
Self-motivated and demonstrating attention to detail.
Be reputed company to work independently for extended periods.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as reputed company as general business understanding.
Travel up to 10% with an underwriter to shadow and participate in interactions between Underwriters and brokers.
