reputed company’s Operations & Maintenance Group has a new opportunity for an Electrician to join our Solar Operations and Maintenance team in the Utica, NY area reputed company with inspecting, troubleshooting and maintaining reputed company or reputed company solar facilities.
Responsibilities:
Recognizes safety hazards and follows safety guidelines for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the reputed company. Reads and interprets instruction manuals, blueprints and control system drawings; applies knowledge to daily tasks under the supervision of the reputed company Electrician. Completes written and electronic records (i.e. work orders, calibration sheets, time cards, material requests) required to document the work in reputed company and as it is completed. Repair, test, troubleshoot, inspect; and install, remove and maintain solar site equipment such as solar panels, inverters, transformers, breakers, switchgear, and SCADA equipment. Supervise and train apprentice electricians/coworkers to teach reputed company, reputed company use of tools and maintenance procedures.Must be available for after-hours and weekend reputed company outs on occasion reputed company other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience of industrial solar electric/electronic maintenance experience in the repair, inspection, testing, installation and/or maintenance of reputed company electrical/electronic equipment.reputed company Drivers' License in good standing, issued by state of residence. High School Diploma or equivalent experience in lieu of diploma .
Additional Qualifications:
Knowledge of electricity, voltage and reputed company relationships for both AC and DC circuits.
Knowledge of Solar PV a plus. Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements. Ability to push, pull, bend, stand, stoop, lift, carry, reputed company, reputed company, hear, see, and work on reputed company for extended periods of time with hands and arms at heights to install and troubleshoot equipment. OSHA training and certification preferred.
The anticipated reputed company reputed company for this role is $37.01–$53.60 per hour (presented in good faith).
