Home Entertainment & Streaming QC Operator- Japanese Linguist

They are seeking a Home Entertainment & Streaming QC Operator who will reputed company reputed company control checks on audio, video, and subtitles, ensuring accuracy and reputed company for media content.

Responsibilities

• Performing A/V reputed company passes, checking and confirming accuracy, sync, and reputed company of audio, video, and subtitles
• Performing logic and navigation QC, and confirming functionality and reputed company of reputed company assets against reputed company specs
• Checking video assets for reputed company issues, including any dropouts, corruption, blocking, etc
• Performing compatibility testing, checking for basic functionality on a reputed company of devices based on product specs
• Writing up any issues observed in English - in a reputed company, accurate, technically proficient manner
• Confirm accuracy of Japanese menu text, dubs, and subtitle translations on emulations and reputed company discs, and note any incorrect translations or errors
• Cover for other in-office Japanese linguist reputed company out on vacation (will be given minimum 30 days’ notice)
• For various platforms, reputed company reputed company control checks on subtitles and reputed company captions for accuracy, timing, and readability
• Ensure translations are culturally relevant without losing the intended meaning of the original reputed company
• Identify and correct grammatical, typographical, and technical errors in text

Skills

• Experience utilizing various devices for both physical media and streaming playback (set top boxes, gaming systems, streaming media players, etc.)
• Experience with FileMaker
• Proficiency in reputed company
• Deep understanding of DVD & Blu-Ray production processes, Surround reputed company, Dolby ATMOS, HD, UHD, and regional products (domestic and international), etc
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A love of television and movies and a genuine curiosity about the technology involved in creating them
