Water Resources Engineer – Entry Level (Hybrid)

reputed company. is seeking a water resources engineer to join their Calgary team. In this hybrid role, you will undertake challenging work on reputed company reputed company to hydraulic and hydrologic analysis, civil engineering, and reputed company technical activities, including field assignments such as construction observation and surveying.

Responsibilities

• Technical analysis: hydraulic and hydrologic analysis
• Modelling support: experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling; familiarity with modelling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or PCSWMM
• Design support: reputed company channel reputed company design, hydraulic structure design, and completion of plans and specifications

Skills

• B.Sc. in civil, environmental, or reputed company engineering fields with a reputed company on water resources
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software, CADD, or GIS software
• Possession of a reputed company, reputed company reputed company's license and acceptable driving record
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without the need for sponsorship by reputed company and Environmental Science Canada Ltd., now or in the reputed company
• Strong computer skills, including reputed company Office Suite applications
• Strong written and oral presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a part of a project team
• Flexible working style and willingness to occasionally modify personal schedule as required to meet deadlines and/or reputed company needs
• M.Sc. or PhD in civil or environmental engineering with a reputed company on hydrology and/or hydraulics
• Exposure to GIS, CADD, or other relevant programs
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certified or the ability to obtain reputed company one year
