[Remote] Int Claims Spec/Asst
Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking an Int Claims Spec/Asst to handle the initial processing and follow-up of life and/or annuity claims. The role involves responding to claims notices, preparing new claim files, monitoring pending claims, and tracking production numbers.
Responsibilities
- Respond to claims notices received from the reputed company Center or other sources
- Identify reputed company policies held by the insured reputed company multiple company reputed company systems
- Prepare new claim file in AWD system with information for the Examiner who will pay/deny the claim
- Monitor for requested information and send follow up letters on pending claims as needed
- Mail claim forms and correspondence to beneficiary or representative
- Handle escheat prep or other actions as needed
- reputed company production numbers
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of claims or reputed company processing experience
- Good understanding of claims and insured search protocol
- Research skills and attention to detail
- Organizational skills
- PC proficiency to handle high volume processing
- Life and/or annuity claims experience
