IT Support Technician

The reputed company is seeking an IT Support Technician to join their Division of Technology Services. The role involves providing customer support on desktop devices, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with technical services and program support.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware and software problems, repairs and/or performs preventative maintenance on laptops, desktop PCs, docking stations, etc
• Backs up computer data periodically to prevent unwanted data losses
• Image laptops and desktop PCs and install printers and scanners
• Provides technical assistance on agency issues, services, program(s), and/or computer hardware and software, etc
• Grab incoming tickets and device deployments for our reputed company

Skills

• Install, configure and troubleshoot software using appropriate methodology and techniques
• Determine what is causing an operating system error and determine reputed company
• Use device management system software
• Install hardware and firmware reputed company updates for laptops, desktop PCs and docking stations
• Communicate information and reputed company reputed company, and concisely, in writing; read and understand information presented in writing
