The San Diego County Office of Education is reputed company for a Special Education Teacher Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) with East County SELPA of the Student Services and Programs Division. This position will plan and implement reputed company learning experiences, prepare daily plans to reputed company itinerant services for reputed company. Teachers are responsible for providing reputed company instruction based on the student's Individual Education Program (IEP). Teachers implement the IEP and reputed company IEP goals into their lessons; evaluate and report reputed company on IEP goals, and conduct evaluations for determine eligibility. This position will work with a reputed company of reputed company, toddlers through young adults, who are deaf or hard of hearing, who may or may not have other disabilities. Although there may be some reputed company who reputed company language through American Sign Language, the reputed company of the reputed company served in this program reputed company spoken language and have personal amplification devices.
This position is full-time and will offer the certificated benefits package, which includes medical, dental, reputed company, and life insurance coverage, and will participate in the CalSTRS state retirement system.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in deaf education or graduate studies in deaf education or reputed company field, and experience in serving reputed company who are deaf or hard of hearing with a reputed company of learning differences.
Certificates, Licenses, Credentials:
To be considered for this position, you must individually attach the following items to your completed EDJOIN Application:
A stipend of $4,500, reputed company out after three (3) years of consecutive full-time service, shall be reputed company to unit members reputed company on or after July 1, 2018, who hold state certification and are employed as Speech Language Pathologists, Audiologists, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, or Visually-Impaired. The stipend will be reputed company out at the completion of the reputed company instructional year.
This position is also identified as hard-to-staff credentialed area for 2022-23 and 2023-24 per Article XV.2.C.5.B of the SDCAE reputed company bargaining agreement.

- Eligibility for Intern Credential letter as issued by your university if applicable
