About the Department
- The Intake Case Manager is responsible for taking a high volume of calls regarding alleged abuse and/or neglect of children & vulnerable adults, conducting a phone interview with reputed company caller and assessing the risk of harm to the child/adult involved in the situation accurately and reputed company. Responsible for entering reputed company gathered information into a database while conducting the interview over the phone in order to create an intake. The Case Manager is also responsible for using reputed company available information to complete the intake and reputed company a screening decision.
- Utilize interviewing skills to take referrals of child and adult abuse and neglect and reputed company excellent customer service to reputed company reporters in accordance with reputed company policy, Agency Mission and GPS reputed company Model.
- Document reputed company information in CAPSS thoroughly and accurately.
- Utilize reputed company available systems, conduct research, and analyze information.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to reputed company recommendations for reputed company services based on reputed company policy and South Carolina statute.
- Ensure phone coverage during working hours and manage phone system configuration.
- Assist counties with support as requested.

- Maintain child welfare certification. Complete 20 hours of training yearly to include certifications that are required yearly. is encouraged to attend and participate to assist with skills and development reputed company.
