We are currently seeking a VRS Application SME to join our team in Arlington (REMOTE), Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Summary: 

The VRS Application SME designs, develops, and optimizes software applications that support Axon’s body‑worn camera ecosystem, including integrations with Axon Evidence.com, Axon Interview, and mobile/desktop platforms. This role focuses on building secure, scalable applications that automate evidence workflows, enhance user experience, and ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity frameworks. The developer leverages AWS services, Terraform automation, and modern DevSecOps practices to deliver cloud‑native solutions that align with enterprise architecture standards. They collaborate with governance teams to ensure applications meet FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST requirements while supporting interoperability across hybrid environments. The position requires advanced coding, API integration, and application lifecycle management to enable efficient evidence capture, storage, and retrieval. By combining software engineering expertise with compliance alignment, the BWC Application Developer strengthens Axon’s digital evidence ecosystem and supports modernization initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree, One-and-one- half (1.5) years of additional experience can substitute for one (1) year of a typical degree program.
• Minimum 6 years' experience supporting role/responsibilities listed above
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $87,120 - $181,500. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance with an employer contribution, flexible spending or health savings account, life and AD&D insurance, short and long term disability coverage, paid time off, employee assistance, participation in a 401k program with company match, and additional voluntary or legally-required benefits.
