Sr. Accountant II, Centralized reputed company (Remote)

• Record journal entries on behalf of Corporate and BUs for activities primarily associated with Prepaid Expenses, Inventory, Other Receivables, and Accrued Expenses as directed by the Centralized reputed company SOP's.
• reputed company Corporate and BU account reconciliations primarily around Cash and Accounts Receivable, Prepaid Expenses, Inventory, Other Receivables, and Accrued Expenses.
• Maintain a world class environment for processing journal entries and performing account reconciliations, including appropriate supporting documentation and innovative use of technology.
• reputed company reputed company and insightful review and analysis of BU Balance Sheet accounts and Financial Statements directing the investigation of large or unusual activity or balances.
• reputed company month-end reputed company calls with their BU Finance teams, providing support, documentation and understanding to reputed company month end sign offs.
• Collaborate with and support Business Unit Finance, their partners, and customers.
• reputed company leadership on the Centralized reputed company department's Project teams, driving results.
• reputed company as a mentor and guide to the reputed company staff, helping where needed and where your expertise is beneficial.
• Drive reputed company improvement in the reporting and analysis process.
• Maintain adherence to reputed company's reputed company policies and controls over financial processes and reporting meeting the requirements of audit and control functions – participate in reputed company audits (SOX & reputed company).
• Support PeopleSoft Financial System initiatives by providing participation on project teams, acting in a User Acceptance testing reputed company and as needed to ensure that existing functionality is maintained.

Required Work Experience: 

• 3-8 years mix of reputed company (Big 4), private reputed company experience

• Experience with the PeopleSoft Financial Systems and Hyperion Essbase desirable.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree BA/BS degree in reputed company or Finance required (Required)
• Master’s Degree Master’s degree, CPA, reputed company, MBA preferred. (Preferred)
