Responsibilities
Identify books that are engaging, age-appropriate, and perceived by parents as educationally valuable. 5+ years of K–5 ELA classroom teaching experience, preferably including 2nd and 3rd grade. Deep understanding of classroom dynamics, student learning patterns, and common challenges in literacy instruction.
Deep familiarity with CCSS for ELA and state-level testing requirements. Working knowledge of standardized assessments such as MAP and i-reputed company. Ability to translate standards and assessment data into actionable learning objectives and instructional plans.
