Miss EmpowHer, a dynamic media company and community dedicated to helping ambitious women connect, grow, and glow up, is seeking a motivated and organized Events Intern to support the planning and execution of our signature community events.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in event planning, logistics coordination, and community engagement for a mission-driven brand reaching 250K+ Gen Z and Millennial women.

About Miss EmpowHer
Miss EmpowHer is a women's community that offers tailored professional development, networking, and lifestyle experiences for Gen Z and Millennial women. The brand combines content creation, community-building, and curated experiences to empower women in personal and professional growth. We are looking for interns who want to gain experience and skills in areas such as Event Planning, Logistics, Vendor Relations, Community Management, and more.
Key Responsibilities
The Events Intern will play a critical role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of Miss EmpowHer's events. Your work will focus on:
Event Planning & Logistics:
- Assist in the end-to-end planning of signature events including Women Who Network, Sip & Socialize, and city meetups
- Research and compile venue options, vendor quotes, and event supply recommendations
- Help build and manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and planning checklists
Vendor & Attendee Coordination:
- Support outreach to vendors, sponsors, and partners for event logistics
- Assist with attendee communications, RSVP tracking, and registration management
- Help coordinate event-day logistics including setup, check-in, and breakdown
Event Marketing Support:
- Collaborate with the social media and graphic design teams to support event promotion
- Help draft event copy for email campaigns, social posts, and event listings
- Assist in post-event wrap-up including attendee feedback collection and recap documentation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented and resourceful with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and/or project management tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- A genuine passion for Miss EmpowHer's mission of women's empowerment, professional growth, and community-building
