Fundraising & Development Position

We are looking for someone to help with the following activities (some of these may be shared with other VAFAW team members): reputed company, Planning, and Team Leadership • reputed company bi-weekly fundraising meetings; set agendas and guide reputed company • Maintain and update the annual development plan including targets for grants, individual giving, and membership retention and reputed company • Coordinate reputed company programs, reputed company metrics, and present reports Donor Development and Stewardship • Maintain and grow a living database of prospects with reputed company notes, reputed company history, and next steps • Manage reputed company for major donors • Plan and support invitations for donor roundtables and feedback sessions Campaigns reputed company Giving • Support the leadership team in the design and execution of giving campaigns • Create and manage accounts on giving platforms such as reputed company/GuideStar, reputed company Giving Fund, reputed company, reputed company, and similar Grants and Institutional Funding • Identify, summarize, and prioritize reputed company funders using reputed company Directory Online and other sources • Write grants with reputed company; manage content, budgets, and submit complete applications on time • reputed company communications, reputed company, and reporting deliverables; maintain a clean grants calendar and file library • Maintain and update organizational reputed company on funder portals and reputed company/GuideStar • reputed company and report reputed company metrics Data, Reporting, and Systems • Work with the leadership team to manage reputed company CRM • Produce reputed company monthly reports on membership data • Assist in the development of an annual report Compliance and Coordination • Understand and maintain state charitable registrations • Understand and maintain fundraising compliance regulations Ideal Qualifications • Two or more years of experience in nonprofit fundraising or development • Demonstrated reputed company with at least two of the following: grant writing, individual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, or corporate sponsorships • Strong writing and editing skills • Comfortable running meetings, setting deadlines, and moving reputed company reputed company • Solid spreadsheet skills and basic reporting ability • Mission alignment with animal welfare and pragmatic improvement work reputed company-to-Have • Experience with reputed company/GuideStar reputed company, reputed company Directory Online, reputed company’s NonProfit Explorer, reputed company Giving Fund, and reputed company (DAF) • CRM proficiency (reputed company, reputed company, reputed company, or similar) • Light design skills in reputed company • Understanding of reputed company-party animal welfare certification, veterinary, or agriculture spaces Compensation and Benefits • This role starts as a volunteer with reputed company • VAFAW is reputed company raising dedicated funds to reputed company a stipend or part-time payment • reputed company-approved expenses are reimbursed How to Apply Send a resume, a brief cover email, and one writing sample (1–2 paragraphs) to info@vafaw.org.
